Terms & Conditions

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms apply when you add or use The Currently Pin (the browser extension and the website at trycurrently.com, together "Currently", "we", "us"). By ticking the box on our site, adding The Currently Pin or paying for a plan, you confirm you have read and agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What The Currently Pin does

The Currently Pin lets you drag a floating pin onto a text message or email in your browser. The text you drop The Currently Pin on is sent to our servers and analysed by an AI model, and the analysis is streamed back to you. The Currently Pin only analyses a message when you drop the pin on it, and only on text-based messages and emails.

2. Not professional advice

The Currently Pin's analysis is AI-generated guidance about tone and likely meaning. It can be wrong and is not a statement of what any person actually thinks or intends. It is not legal, medical, psychological, financial or relationship advice. You are responsible for how you read and reply to messages. The Currently Pin does not assume anyone's gender and may get details wrong.

3. Who can use The Currently Pin

You must be at least 18 years old. You must have the right to use The Currently Pin on the messages you analyse, and you must not use it to harass, deceive or harm anyone, to break the law, or to break the rules of the service where the message appears.

4. Plans, credits and prices

1 credit is used each time The Currently Pin analyses one message or email. A credit is used when an analysis starts. Free credits refresh monthly. Paid credits refresh after a successful payment for each billing period. Unused credits do not roll over on any plan. If a subscription payment fails, paid credits are disabled until payment succeeds; a successful payment then grants the new allowance. You can upgrade from Starter to Best Advantage at any time; the new plan and fresh allowance take effect after the prorated upgrade payment succeeds. When your credits run out The Currently Pin stops analysing until your next allowance or until you upgrade. Prices are in pounds sterling and include any tax we are required to charge. We may change prices or plans for future billing periods and will give notice on the website before any change applies to you.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Verify your email once before checkout to link your subscription and credits to your browser account.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the account panel in The Currently Pin or from the Account page on our website. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; you can resume before then. Removing or uninstalling the browser extension does not cancel a subscription or stop automatic renewal. Cancel before uninstalling, or sign in to the Account page to manage billing if you have already removed it. Because credits are used instantly, we do not normally refund periods already started, but contact us at trycurrentlyhelp@outlook.com if something went wrong and we will look at it fairly. Nothing here limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

7. Your browser and device

The Currently Pin is designed for desktop browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Brave and Safari on macOS. Availability depends on the browser-store listings configured on our website. Mobile browsers are not supported at this time. Your verified email account links your credits and subscription across reinstalls. After installing, sign in once from the extension toolbar popup to sync your account; the pin can then use your account in open browser tabs without a page refresh.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse The Currently Pin. That includes trying to bypass credit limits, reverse engineer or overload our service, scrape it, or use it to process content you have no right to share. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

9. Availability and updates

We work to keep The Currently Pin running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. The website is updated automatically, and the extension updates when a new version is released.

10. Liability

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or being negligent. We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on The Currently Pin's analysis, for lost profits or business, or for indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant we will ask you to accept the new terms before your next purchase.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
